The history of our Hotel
The construction of the cable car marks a turning point which allows Renon to opens its doors for tourism in 1907.
By the Costalovara Lake, family Baumgartner establishes the two houses "Trattoria al Lago" and "Cafè Waldfrieden" (later known as "Miralago"). In 1979, Hans and Christl Baumgartner convert the guesthouse Miralago into the "Hotel am Wolfsgrubenersee" in order to meet the demands of guests and the requirements of the times.
Nowadays, after 40 years, daughter Karin and her husband run the hotel.
